What Can You Tokenize?

Almost any asset with documented value can be tokenized. Here are common examples:

Real Estate

Apartments, commercial buildings, land parcels, vacation rentals.

Required: Deed, appraisal, property photos

Precious Metals

Gold bars, silver coins, platinum, stored commodities.

Required: Assay certificate, custody proof

Art & Collectibles

Paintings, sculptures, rare collectibles, vintage items.

Required: Provenance, appraisal, photos

Financial Instruments

Revenue shares, royalties, bonds, fund shares.

Required: Legal agreements, financials

Before You Start

Make sure you have these ready before starting the tokenization process:

Connected wallet with activated account
At least 10 XRP for reserves & fees
KYC verification completed
Legal ownership documents
High-quality photos of the asset
Recent appraisal or valuation

Step-by-Step Walkthrough

1Navigate to Tokenize Page

Go to xrptokenizer.app/tokenize or click "Tokenize" in the main navigation.

2Select Asset Type

Choose the category that best describes your asset:

3Enter Asset Details

Fill in the information about your asset:

e.g., "123 Main Street Property"

Description *

Detailed description of the asset

Total Value (USD) *

e.g., $250,000

Location

Physical location if applicable

4Upload Supporting Documents

Upload documents that prove ownership and value:

Important: All documents are securely encrypted and stored. We only share them with authorized verifiers.

5Configure Token Parameters

Define how your token will work on the blockchain:

Token Symbol

3-8 character code (e.g., "MAIN123" for 123 Main St)

Total Supply

Number of tokens to create (e.g., 1000 tokens = 1000 shares)

Transfer Restrictions

Limit who can hold/trade (KYC required, accredited only, etc.)

Initial Price per Token

Total Value ÷ Total Supply = Price per token

Example Calculation:

Asset Value: $250,000

Total Supply: 1,000 tokens

Price per Token: $250

6Review & Submit

Review all the information carefully before submitting:

Verify asset details are accurate
Check all required documents are uploaded
Confirm token parameters are correct
Review fee breakdown
Accept terms and conditions

7Sign the Transaction

Approve the minting transaction in your wallet:

Open Xaman → Scan QR code → Review transaction → Slide to sign

Browser Extensions

Popup appears → Review details → Click "Approve"
