Connecting Your Wallet

Link your crypto wallet to xrptokenizer.app to start tokenizing assets. We support Xaman, Crossmark, and GemWallet.

Why Do I Need to Connect a Wallet?

Your wallet is your identity on the blockchain. When you connect it to xrptokenizer.app, you're allowing our platform to:

Read your address

So we know where to send your tokens

Request signatures

You approve each transaction in your wallet

View your tokens

Display your tokenized assets

Never access your keys

We cannot move funds without your approval

Your funds are always safe. Connecting your wallet does NOT give us access to your private keys or ability to move funds. You must manually approve every transaction in your wallet app.

Step-by-Step: Connect Xaman

Since Xaman is the most popular wallet, here's a detailed walkthrough:

Log In to xrptokenizer.app

Make sure you're logged into your account. Then navigate to the Wallet page or click "Connect Wallet" in the navigation.

Select "Xaman" from the Wallet Options

Click on the Xaman option. A QR code will appear on your screen.

Open Xaman on Your Phone

Open the Xaman app. Tap the scan button (looks like a QR code icon) in the bottom navigation bar.

Scan the QR Code

Point your phone's camera at the QR code on your computer screen. Xaman will automatically detect it.

Review & Approve the Connection

Xaman will show you a sign request from xrptokenizer.app. Review the details, then slide to sign or enter your passcode/biometric to approve.

What you're signing: This is a login signature, not a transaction. It proves you own this wallet but doesn't send any XRP.

Wallet Connected! 🎉

The website will automatically update to show your connected wallet address. You'll see your XRP balance and are ready to tokenize assets!

Connecting Browser Extension Wallets

For Crossmark and GemWallet, the process is simpler since they run in your browser:

Crossmark

  1. 1. Install from crossmark.io
  2. 2. Click "Connect Wallet" → "Crossmark"
  3. 3. Popup appears → Click "Approve"
  4. 4. You're connected!

GemWallet

  1. 1. Install from gemwallet.app
  2. 2. Click "Connect Wallet" → "GemWallet"
  3. 3. Popup appears → Click "Approve"
  4. 4. You're connected!

Troubleshooting

QR Code Not Scanning?

  • • Make sure your phone camera has permission to scan
  • • Try increasing screen brightness on your computer
  • • Move closer to the screen
  • • Click "Refresh" to generate a new QR code

Connection Timed Out?

  • • QR codes expire after ~2 minutes for security
  • • Click "Try Again" to get a fresh QR code
  • • Make sure you're approving quickly in Xaman

Wallet Not Showing Up?

  • • For browser extensions: make sure they're installed and unlocked
  • • Try refreshing the page
  • • Check if the extension is enabled for this site
